Like many trade careers in the United States, the coffee world is seeing a shortage of young people interested in being the next generation of coffee farmers. Our friends at Unblended Coffee saw this and committed to training the next generation of young coffee producers.

This lot comes from producer Valeria Pinos, a 17-year-old (no, that is not a typo). She has taken a passionate stand towards learning the trade of her family. She named this lot “Valeria” after herself because, in her own words, “(This lot) is the duality between citric and sweetness, and that’s me. I can be hard sometimes, but I always want to be kind and do well.”
